Disjointed Sunday
So I’m home on the couch. For a Sunday, that’s pretty typical, at least (TD PASS PEYTON) during the fall. This year, though, this is my last weekend for me until Thanksgiving. I suppose that that’s a good thing, in the long run – I know that MLW (my lovely wife) wishes I wouldn’t watch so much football. How do they do that cool hp digital photography commercial where picture frames become pictures of people. It’s a very compelling effect.
In an effort to avoid work, I’m fiddling around with my first Live Journal. Part of it is rebellion; I don’t get paid enough to put in all of the extra hours I’m logging at home right now. My schedule sucks raw eggs. If I go an evening or weekend without doing 3-6 hours of work, I wind up way behind. Blech. <pause to tickle LP (little pumpkin) repeatedly>
I became curious about this Live Journal thanks to MLW, who has always been more in touch with the internet communities. She has been a regular on SpoilerSlayer (rest in peace) and the like, and I’ve always admired her “underground” savy. So I’m trying to get more in tune with her interests. Plus, I can’t work when I’m journaling – a plus.
This will be a place where I can vent, muse, slam, whatever. Maybe I won’t have to spend so much of my social time doing it in person.
