What the hell is that supposed to mean?
Just had to get this up, before the details of a horrible month come crashing back in.
This quote is in reference to American extremists who have joined the militant Muslim groups like the Taliban and Al-Queda.
“While John Walker Lindh didn’t grow up on a goat farm, [as did the other person referenced] his parents were very tolerant of his experimenting with different faiths, and I think that’s something you see in both of these families,” said Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University at San Bernardino.
So tolerance in your child’s life choices leads to extremism? Oh, my, I hope this was taken out of context.
