Another way to waste time. . .
So January is shaping up to be a good month for me, game-playing wise. Which, of course, means that it’s a good month. My whole outlook seems easier to keep upbeat if I get a significant amount of play time in.
What may be interfering with that starting in . . . oh, about 10 minutes is the release of the World of Warcraft expansion “The Burning Crusade” (link opens a flash window) .”
V and I are going to have to be very strict in our self-imposed limit on online time. This leads me to my question for all of you out there (is there anybody out there?) – what is your biggest time-waster/ The internet, television, books, blogging? I don’t really begrudge my time-wasting, as I still get out, do stuff, play with my kids, et-cetera. But am I the only person who has to look out for falling into the time trap that some forms of entertainment/stimulation provides?
I don’t count boardgames in this category, because the act is inherently social, and provides a needed human outlet. Plus, even with the 30 games I have under my belt this month already, it only happens four or five times a month (on average).
