Someone is Wrong on the Internet. Episode 7
Hello all! I’m excited about this episode. Well, really, I’m excited about all of them. It’s not like we do this for money. This one is special because it revolves around a review of two new albums, Artificial Heart by Jonathan Coulton, and Join Us by They Might Be Giants. As a super-bonus, though, we will also be reviewing the recent Chicago concert at the Vic with JoCo opening for TMBG! Yay, super-bonus!
Someone is Wrong on the Internet. Episode 6
Wow. It’s been a month. So . . . when I said we would slow down, I’m not sure I envisioned slowing down this much. But you know, life and all. Anyway, we have another super fun-packed episode for you today! First, we talk just a little bit about our . . . unique(?) parenting choices. Perhaps the choices aren’t as unique as the ways that we justify them. The big segment, though, is us taking to task seven of our favorite television show-runners. We loves them, yes we does, but sometimes they do stuff that makes you say, “What
Hey! Remember me?
It’s been another one of those longer-than-expected absences. I haven’t disappeared, but with school in full swing, my work time has been more structured, and my not-work time has turned into hours of Deus-Ex and FIFA 2012. That last bit has been percolating in my head as an upcoming blog post, which I hope to have finished mid-week. Finally, Valerie has been in Korea recently, which put our podcast on hold for
Someone is Wrong on the Internet. Episode 5
I’m back from the woods, and you’ve had a week to get over the end of our first four episode blitz, so here’s episode 5! We depart from our format a bit, with our first segment being short bits – just stuff we wanted to riff on for a few minutes each. The beefy part of this episode is our “Top 10 people on the Internet.” And actually, it’s a Top 20, since we each made our own lists. That’s right, people, two-for-one! Because that’s just how much we love you. Enjoy.
Things I think about
My wife has a more robust social life than I do, it seems. For the second time in as many weeks, she’s out with friends at the movies. This time it’s Contagion, which had many scenes filmed in the building where her company has lab and office space. Anywho, since I can’t record the first segment for episode 5 of SiWotI, and I’m actually ahead of the curve on getting work done for school, I thought I’d sit at the computer and jot down some short items that have been bouncing around in my think-place. I’m contemplating adding a forum to
