Someone is Wrong on the Internet. Episode 7
Hello all! I’m excited about this episode. Well, really, I’m excited about all of them. It’s not like we do this for money. This one is special because it revolves around a review of two new albums, Artificial Heart by Jonathan Coulton, and Join Us by They Might Be Giants. As a super-bonus, though, we will also be reviewing the recent Chicago concert at the Vic with JoCo opening for TMBG! Yay, super-bonus!
Someone is Wrong on the Internet. Episode 6
Wow. It’s been a month. So . . . when I said we would slow down, I’m not sure I envisioned slowing down this much. But you know, life and all. Anyway, we have another super fun-packed episode for you today! First, we talk just a little bit about our . . . unique(?) parenting choices. Segment two is a rant about vaccinations and HPV. (That story really blew my mind.) Spoiler alert – this is my favorite third episode of all time. Seriously, folks, we are freakin’ brilliant here.

We also discuss the bizarre goings-on with the nascent Republican Presidential campaign. But our big topic of the episode is the first in a four-part discussion about NPR’s “100 Top Sci-Fi and Fantasy Books.”

I love being able to reference a Simpsons episode every now and then. But this one comes from a place of fear and distaste. I read this post about Math in games in the BGG blog section. My head exploded. If you don’t want to click over, I’ll summarize. Game designer Lewis Pulsipher (most notably of Britannia) said: At one of my game design talks at Origins I said that designers should avoid requiring players to do math, because so many younger people are very poor at doing math in their heads. One member of the audience let out odd
