“What game has your favorite theme?” See people, this is what I’m talking about. Left to my own devices, I come up with a stupid question like this one. Let me quickly make one more plea for visiting and commenting on the “Request” page (link in the sidebar). I am flying back to Chicago this morning, and have sort of, kind of, arbitrarily decided that landing at home and waking up the next morning will be my cut off for submissions. Folks, you guys are a lot more interesting than me, so help me out, would you?

Paris.
I’m getting ready to write my next entry in the meme, but before I do, I just want to rant for a brief moment. I’m in Paris now, having taken the Eurostar from London this afternoon. The train ride was great – fast, comfortable, and given that they have some of the same security measures in place at the terminal, quite efficiently run. Then we got to the Metro. The International train station is at Gare du Nord, in the north-eastern part of Paris. We are renting a flat in central Paris (literally right across the river from Notre Dame),

Torchwood: Television you should be watching
Apropos of nothing else, really, but are you watching Torchwood: Miracle Day? It’s on Starz, and I just saw episode one on BBC 1 over here in London. For those of you who don’t know, for two years, Torchwood was Doctor Who’s slutty sister. Then last summer, instead of a third season, they did a 5 episodes in 5 nights miniseries called “Children of Earth.” It was brilliant. Torchwood had definitely grown up. Now Starz is carrying a similar miniseries called “Miracle Day.” Imagine a world where nobody dies. Ever. For any reason. This is classic Science Fiction, done with
